I am going to pull this and work a complete pattern overhaul. There are several places that need to be re-worked and re-visited. I apologize for the confusion and need for clarification that should have been resolved before it was released. Another good tech editor and I will sit down with it and make it the pattern it should be! Once complete an update will be sent around to those who have purchased.

I have a love affair with cables, but wanted something more here, and decided the cables needed to dance across the fabric. After sketching a rough draft in a doctor’s waiting room the sweater was dubbed “Waiting Cardi” and the fun began.

This is a bottom up, seamless, raglan sleeve cardigan. Both sleeves are worked first, and then the body worked until the underarm where the sleeves are joined and raglan shaping begins.

Difficulty is an Intermediate +. While there is nothing extremely difficult there are several charts to keep track of, and many things being worked at the same time.

This pattern is quite long, but you will not need all of the pages, just those for your size. Please see the note on page 2 for instructions on which pages you’ll need to use.

Shown in Tosh Merino Light, Composition Grey, a fingering weight Merino yarn.

Errata: For each size when beginning back chart you should have 8 stitches between back markers, not 6 as current instructions show.
