Due to changes to EU legislation with regard to Value Added Tax liability from 1st January 2015 I have decided to temporarily suspend pattern sales until it becomes clear what the best option for me will be. I will also be using this opportunity to develop some new patterns, revise layouts, make any amendments and take some new photos. I haven’t set a date for reopening my Ravelry store but it’s unlikely to be before early summer 2015. If you’d like to be notified when I reopen send my a personal message and I’ll add you to a list for earburning when I reopen.

This pattern has been designed to coincide with the 2014 Winter Olympics being held in Sochi, Russia. For the duration of the Games 50% of all pattern sales will be donated to the Albert Kennedy Trust

The pattern prints in colour over two pages. If you aren’t able to print in colour then there’s a note about working the chart in black and white.

Way Up High was inspired, in part, by the gorgeous rainbow mini skein sets available from the Knitting Goddess. Paired with her lovely undyed sock yarn the hat is a splash of bright colour with simple stranded colourwork, stripes and a bouncy rainbow pompom.
