What Tomorrow Brings was designed as an advent-calendar-style countdown. The pattern is broken into 25 manageable sections, so that you can knit one section and use one mini skein every day between December 1st and the 25th. I find every day in December a little more magical than the last. As my kids count down to Christmas, the energy in the air builds and we all hop around the house like wind-up toys. This shawl was designed to celebrate (and channel) that incredible holiday anticipation.

To create this shawl, I worked in collaboration with Suburban Stitcher using her beautiful Quiet Voices Advent Kit, BUT you DO NOT need an advent kit to enjoy this pattern. What Tomorrow Brings is the perfect project for stash diving! This pattern includes a specific yardage breakdown for each of the 25 colors required for this shawl. AND, because of the many textures used in this design, it even looks beautiful in a single color. BONUS: The pattern includes a coloring page so you can plan ahead.

This shawl is knit using three fun construction techniques and relaxing, uncomplicated stitches. First, you will work a side-to-side triangle. Next, you will pick up and knit stitches along the lower edge of that triangle and work a top down triangle. Finally, you will work an attached edging to complete the shawl. The attached edging fades the final six colors to give you a truly stunning finish.
