This hat was designed during the East Coast blizzard of 2016. We were completely snowed in, with piles of soft snow all around us. The snow was gone soon enough, but the hat is still being used after all these years but the hat is still as fluffy as ever.

Skill level: beginner to intermediate
Finished dimensions: Sized for children and adults (head circumference 20”/50cm - 22”/55cm)
Yarn: super bulky weight yarn, size 6; about 12 oz/340 g, 212 y/194 m. I used 2 skeins of Wool-Ease Thick&Quick by Lion Brand (band info 6 oz/170g, 106 yds/97m).
Needles: circular needles size US 10 1/2 6.5mm and size US13 9mm or size to obtain gauge
Other materials: pompom maker, tapestry needle.
Gauge: 12 st and 8 rows = 4” in drop stitch pattern on number 13 needles.
