A song sung with silk and needles, created by your gifted fingers.

This shawl starts as a triangle and transitions to a crescent for the border, giving a shawl with no hump and the top and no point at the bottom for the best of both worlds.

Size
Sample is 203cm/80in wide by 60cm/24 in deep. Information on how to resize the shawl is included in the pattern.

Yarn and yardage requirements:
Posh Yarn, Robynn Lace (100% silk) or any lace weight or fingering yarn with a majority natural fibre content. Sample used 53g/424m/ 464yds. I used the colourway “A strange wild song” – all Posh Yarn is made in one of a kind colourways.

Needles/gauge:

6mm/US 8 or right size to achieve the desired fabric . Gauge is not critical for fit, but will affect the appearannce of the lace and the final size . I worked this at a very open gauge for airy and delicate lace.
