This elongated triangular shawl features a combination of garter and stockinette sections with a playful stair-stepping effect down its center and optional tassels on the corners for a fun finishing touch. Originally designed for the 2021 Fibernymph Dye Works Winter Magical Holiday Countdown sets, it can easily be knit instead with equivalent amounts of yarn from other mini sets or with leftovers in your stash.

Designed to be knit with twenty-four 10-gram fingering weight minis OR twelve 20-gram fingering or worsted weight minis.

Fingering Weight: Two US3 (3.25 mm) 32” (80 cm) circular needles
Worsted Weight: Two US7 (4.5 mm) 32” (80 cm) circular needles

Gauge:

Fingering Weight - Pre-blocking: 18 stitches/4” (10 cm) in garter or stockinette. Post-blocking: 16 stitches/4” (10cm) in garter or stockinette.

Worsted Weight - Pre-blocking: 16 stitches/4” (10cm) in garter or stockinette. Post-blocking: 14 stitches/4” (10cm) in garter or stockinette.
