The X-and-O pattern is one of the oldest in Norway, originating from the Setesdal region in southern Norway, where Arne’s grandmother was born. Since the mid 19th century this pattern has become an icon of Norwegian design. Their heritage is a source of great inspiration to ARNE & CARLOS, who played with colors and proportions to create a band of supersized white on blue X-and-O motifs underlined in zingy orange to create a fun, comfy and warm slouchy hat.
