Design
This lacy, wool hat is worked in the round from the bottom up, holding a strand of lace mohair with a strand of fingering weight wool. (DK weight yarn can also be substituted). Floral lace ferns bend towards each other as they taper up to the hat’s crown. A single brioche knit stitch separates the ferns. A tubular cast-on is utilized so this hat can fit a wider range of head sizes. The pattern is written in ONE ADULT SIZE and will fit an average adult-sized head circumference (see finished measurements below). The pattern is charted and also includes separate written instructions. All repeat sections appear in bold print for easy reading.
