WOOL & WOOD BASKETS - are worked from the bottom up, seamless, all in one piece construction. They have a wooden base and are crocheted out of T-shirt yarn or Bulky yarn. The special crochet knit stitch used for this design, gives the baskets the appearance of Stocking Stitch used in knitting when completed. There are three sizes of baskets; Small (6”), Medium (8”) and Large (10”), which nestle inside of each other for compact storage when not in use. They are fun, quick and easy to make because the wooden bottoms are already prepared for you. You can purchase the Wool & Wood Basket kits on our website - www.peterboroughyarnshop.com or in our brick and mortar store, Peterborough Yarn Shop. Baskets are very handy and practical for storing things in such as; towels, soaps, magazines, toys, makeup, miscellaneous, etc. I personally like the large one for a knitting basket beside my chair. The other two sizes are great for housing individual knitting projects I am working on. The pattern instructions include everything you need to know in order to make all three baskets including; edge & handle options as well as how to cut a T-shirt into yarn. Happy Crocheting!
