World War II U.S. Navy Iceland Sweater

Pattern description from Knitting America: “This pattern for a ribbed pull-over from the official U.S. Navy publication, ARC-3F Code AF-60 of May 1942, as approved by the American Red Cross. No photograph of the sweater accompanied the pattern.”

Equipment Needed: Yarn: 36 ozs 4/4 sweater yarn, dark navy blue, for body. 6 ozs. 4/8 sweater yarn, dark navy blue, for ribbing.

Needles: One pair No. 8 needles for body. One pair No. 4 needles for ribbing.

No gauge, yardage or sizes given in this pattern.
