A wrap in two versions! Wrap yourself in buttery soft, luxury superwash Merino while you enjoy the seasons. At the moment, we’re enjoying an abundance of winter, which is a perfect time to knit either pattern.
Note: Any Chunky weight yarn may be substituted.

mecha
Mecha means single ply in Uruguayan Spanish. Pure Merino Superwash Wool. Aprox. 130 yards (120 m) per skein. 100 grams per skein Needles US 10-11, 6-8 mm Gauge 11 to 13 sts = 4 inches

Quick and rewarding to knit, each pattern version uses 2 hanks of fabulous Malabrigo, Mecha, and is perfect for many seasons. Simply toss it over your shoulders as a wrap or wear it as a scarf.
Fasten it with a gorgeous hand crafted shawl pin by Heartfelt Silks: https://www.etsy.com/shop/HeartFeltSilks?page=2

Each version knits up so quickly; it feels as though the wrap practically knits itself! This fabulous yarn disappears fast from your Local Yarn Shop’s shelves, so be sure to purchase enough yarn to knit both versions?

Colors of Mecha used: 33 Cereza and 809 Solis
Version #1= 80” long x 14” at the deepest part of the center.
Version #2 = an asymmetrical triangle, which is approximately 73” long at the straight edge x 21” wide at the bound off edge x 78” long at the increase edge. Measured after blocking.
