Pattern description from Bag Style: “In true yoga fashion, Sharon O’Brien combined elements of calm (Van Gogh ‘stars’ on a ‘sky’ of cool, deep teal) and energy (warm vibrant stripes) in this bag designed to carry a yoga mat. Sharon worked the square base in garter stitch at a tight gauge, then picked up stitches around the base and worked the body in stockinette stitch to the top. She added false seams at the corners and eyelets for a drawstring at the top. To reinforce the drawstring eyelets, Sharon sewed crocheted circles around each hole. For the strap, she knitted a wide stockinette strap that she allowed to curl in on itself naturally.”
