This design was inspired by the desire for a garment with the appearance of a shawl, but the ability to stay on your body like a cowl. We call it a “showl” … Oh, and Bees!

This showl begins with a somewhat unusual garter tab (we’ll guide you through it!) and continues like an ordinary triangular shawl knit back and forth, although it has a decorated spine to add distinction. After some inches, a stripe of the motifs from the spine is knit .

Right after the stripe, the piece is joined and from that point on, it is worked in the round.
