This hat was conceived for a friend who wanted a hat as comfortable and easy to wear as a beanie, but with a stylish edge. I could not find exactly what I wanted, so this miss-mash of ideas has evolved over time.

I would class this as a beginner’s pattern, and could easily be knit up in an evening. A great pattern for that last minute gift.
