ZAMIRA is a large triangle shaped shawl that can be wrapped around the neck several times. The pattern combines a fingering weight yarn with mohair and silk, both in the same color. The pattern can be easily adapted to the amount of available yarn: knit-until-you-run-out-of-yarn! Above all the pattern is fully reversible, just decide by yourself which side is your favorite one!

What is the idea about this shawl? It´s all about different shades of gray - I used two skeins of variegated sock yarn in combination with a printed mohair silk. The one-color-brioche pattern allows to knit the complete shawl without a single purl stitch! Due to its asymmetrical shape, you don´t have to count too much and above all the pattern allows some mindless knitting to travel with … and I love to wear it!

Repetitive increases along the right edge are giving the shawl its crescent shape. Two bind off rows are worked across for a clean finish! You end up with a large, feminine shawl. I am sure, you will love it!
