Zen is an idea that was floating around in my mind for some time. Once I charted it, I couldn’t stop. This design is non-gender specific, and it comprises easy colorwork repeats allowing for a zen-like peaceful experience for the knitter. It flows. The fact that the socks are stranded means there’s double the amount of fingering wool for added warmth without too much added bulk. You have the option to include a secret pocket that can securely hold valuables like cash or keys. You can go up or down needle sizes to change sizes, too. The socks can be made to fit anyone. Work the heel and toe in a contrasting color or use the background color. Your choice! I enjoyed working this pattern so much that I also designed a hat, mitts, and even a shawl!
