Zooming is a great project for taking your brioche skills to the next level by learning some increases and decreases. This cowl features a zig-zag motif on a background of brioche rib. It is fully reversible, and the design looks great from both sides!

This cowl is knit from the bottom up.

Materials
Yarn: two skeins, in contrasting colors, of one of the following worsted-weight yarns

  • Shepherd’s Wool Worsted (Stonehedge Fiber Mill, 100% merino, 250 yards/229 meters)
  • Rios (Malabrigo, 100% superwash merino, 210 yards/192 meters) The sample uses Malabrigo Rios in colorways Paris Night and Apple Green.

Needles: 16” circular needles in size US 8 / 5 mm and US 10 / 6 mm, or size needed to obtain gauge
Notions: Stitch marker, tapestry needle for weaving in ends
