This is a fun bag to make. You have the option of knitting this as a drawstring bag with options of making a cord or using ribbon.

You can also turn this into a satchel by applying the straps also given in this pattern.

There is simple colourwork involved. You will need 6 balls of Rico Creative Cotton Aran 2 x red, 2 x white and 2 x blue.
1 pair of 4mm needles and stitch holder required and if you want to use ribbon then purchase 1 metre with a ribbon width of no more than 1 inch.
