First brioche knitting. Not sure I’ll do more. Started the hat about five times - ripping out at different times because I messed up. I like the final result, even with the mistakes, but I didn’t enjoy the knitting.

Started with just the one skein of multicolor yarn. I tried to line them up so that the colors weren’t aligned, but I obviously didn’t make it. Knit with them that way for roughly the length of a brim, then broke the yarn and really ensured they were not aligned.

Ben is happy with the result. We got to spend time with him and his family over Christmas, so I got a picture of him wearing it.

And maybe I’ll knit more brioche. I did finally get used to it.
