Yes, I am knitting a fingering-weight dress. I might be insane.

- Done. Just have to take some pics.
- Starting the collar had me completely stumped. Thank goodness for the Techniques forum. Info here.

- Body is blocked and sleeves are almost finished.
- Got loads of beads and yarn left (thank goodness!)

- So I’m about halfway through ball #4 (i.e. halfway through the yarn I have, total). I just finished the body decreases. I really hope I have enough yarn. :-/
- I am also into the third tube of beads. I managed to find more online, which apparently shipped on Monday. Hopefully they get here soon!!

- Joined ball #3 and cracked open tube #2 of the beads tonight.
- I’m pleased with how quickly this is going, just need to track down two more tubes of beads!

- Started the main body section and so far so good. Loving the beading!
- I wasn’t able to get enough beads at Michaels. They only had 3 tubes of the color I wanted and I’m going to probably need 3 more. Hopefully they get more stock in soon!!

- Settled on the 3.0 mm needle.
- I haven’t had much time to work on this but the ribbing is actually going decently fast - I’m almost at 3” (out of 5!)

- So the swatches I knit on the 3.75mm and 3.50mm needles are wet-blocking huge, regardless of the fact that I am not pinning them in any way… just wetting them/rolling them in a towel/laying them flat to dry.
- I’m going to try another swatch on a 3.25mm fixed circular but I really don’t like the cable and it’s kind of too long :-(

I swatched on the 3.75 but I need to block it. If it blocks to gauge too easily I am going to go down a needle size. Knitting stretches!

I used 8/0 seed beads on my swatch, which are smaller than called for, but in the absence of 5/0, they’ll do.
