The only knit Christmas gift for 2011. I knit this for dear friends of mine who have become family during my time up north.

This is a cozy blanket that will go well with their new living room furniture where we hang out & have a good time.

Pattern Modification: I didn’t alternate into the full basketweave - looking @ the pictures in the magazine I didn’t like the puckering. So, I knit the entire blanket per the 1st repeat of the pattern.
