Notes

Love this litte scarf! Shetland is the August Wool for the KBOW woolalong. The Baktus is lightweight and yet, I can tell that my face and neck will be warm. And the Shetland’s nature to “stick” will keep my scarf from loosening and falling down my face. I purchased the Shetland yarn from Under the Son Farm, a local vendor at the Indiana Fiber Event held annually in Greencastle, Indiana. Last year was my first adventure and I cannot wait for next year!

My Baktus is long enough to wrap around my neck with little tails to secure and deep enough that I can keep my nose from freezing. I didn’t overly block so my measurement are 62” along the top and 14” deep at the center.

August 10: Half down, half to go.

August 6: Back and forth..garter, garter, garter. This is a nice simple pattern except I have to keep reminding myself to include the YO row. Now, I’m jonesing for a little fall weather.
