Final measurements (pre-blocking): 18” around the waist, 12” down the leg (in front, so excluding the extra height in the butt). In other words, bang on the right width for the size I was knitting, but slightly shorter in the leg. This baby’s not from a tall family, though, so all should be well!

I’m so tickled with these wee pants. They felt slow to knit (WHY did I pick plain grey yarn in Jan-Feb?!?) but the result is so adorable. The details are thoughtful (butt space and a big wide crotch gusset to fit a diaper), the pattern is well-written, and the style is so cute. They’d be great in denim blue yarn as baby jeans too.
