I worked 7 repeats of the body stitch pattern. On the border, I think I have enough yarn for 2 repeats + 6 rows of the edging -- i.e., enough to finish a set of the beaded chevrons, which I think it probably the most pleasing end point to my obsessive little eyes.

I’m a little concerned about how this is going to block -- the body stitch pattern is so lumpy, unblocked, and there’s a funny sort of hump at the centre (where the cast-on was). I don’t see any issues in any of the finished projects, though, so fingers are firmly crossed! (Edited to add: it blocked out fine. There’s a little peak there, but not nearly as big a hump as I feared.)

21.5 gr rem after bind off. Added one bead at the point of each beaded chevron in the bind-off row, and used jssbo.

Finished measurements (blocked): 18” deep at the centre; 69” wingspan (measuring the curved top edge as if it were straight, holding the tape measure along the curves).
