I adjusted the pattern to use the yarn that I wanted to for the project which was a worsted weight:

• my needle U.S. #10 - 6mm
• my gauge: 8.5 stitches and 9 rows = 2” in pattern
• cast on 108 stitches for 25” cowl - will easily block to 26
• Did the long tail cast on and then 2 repeats (4 rows: A, B, A, B) in the main color as 3 would have made to wide of a solid band around the edge in the heavier yarn.

It came out exactly to size: 6” wide and a smidge more than 26” in circumference. Super warm, great drape. Easy to follow and well written pattern.

I did a sewn bind off but I think on the next one I’ll do a chain bind-off purl wise and see how it looks.
