Arms a couple days each. Working on the second now should be done today 12/31. Then I need to rip the first one halfway back because it magically got a extra bobble and I didn’t notice. Edit: I’m tall I made the ribbing 1.5” longer than it said to. I think I did 20 rows of ribbing in each sleeve

11/1/15. I decided that the fit of the hem wasn’t right. So I took off my ribbing and am redoing it. 6 fcking hours!

The purple is really a darker color out of the pictures. Needed the flash for the cables to show.

1/3 blocking day! The suds picture is just the amount of overdye after having everything in the “SOAK”. Amazing how much was left in there.

6 hours of seaming! 6 hours!

Working the collar I found the stitch count is off for rows 17&18. Because the short rows were not decreased by the same amount as the small size, the large says it should finish with 48 stitch past the marker on row 17. I come out come out with 52. Checked the math 3 times, nope I’m right, stitch count us just off in this one place.

I did short rows seam to seam on the bottom to add an extra inch to the butt. Done same as collar except it was 10 stitch less/row before turning. Each side had 3 turns.

Buttons are from Amazon. I bought a lot of 50 metal buttons, 5 sets of 10. They are 1” and just fit into the button holes that were made according to the directions.

After finishing, I wish I would have done more of a drastic waist decrease. I have a 10” difference between my bust to waist and waist to hips. So it is very loose in the middle and just right everywhere else. Also I think the shoulder straps could be a little wider and the back neckline a little taller.

Overall quite pleased though. I might make it again someday.

1/6/15. I’ve decided to make a new jacket. Size small. This one falls off my shoulders. :(
