Deja vu. Same as my green version, with minor mods.

The shoulder pieces on my green one seemed too wide, but only on the front piece - they were perfect in the back. I was going to decrease more on the front, but then figured out that the real problem is that the front piece is wider than the back. I’m sure that’s to account for the cables, but it didn’t seem necessary in my case. So for this one, I decreased one stitch on each side of the front piece every row for the last 3 rows just before the beginning of the armhole. This gave me the same number of stitches as the back piece, and then I just did the same decreases for the armholes on the front as on the back. It worked out better, but I think doing one less decrease row (2 decrease rows instead of 3) would have been perfect.

Other modifications from the pattern:

• Added 2 stitches to both the front and back pieces for a slightly larger size.

• Did 5 rows of garter stitch for the hem instead of 3.

• Added length (worked 22 rows of stockinette before starting the waist decreases)

• Did waist shaping on the front to match the back.

• Started the neck opening 3 cables higher than specified in the pattern (1 cable after the beginning of the armhole)

• Made the armholes the same as “Cynthia”, with a 6-stitch 1x1 rib, decreasing to the same number of shoulder sts as indicated in the pattern for my size.
