Notes

The pattern calls for “2 balls” of yarn for the medium size, but it doesn’t say what size balls. I used just barely over half of a 7-oz skein.

So that I didn’t need to work with 3 different balls of yarn, when I got to the point of shaping the leg openings, I knit and bound off across the row using the same working yarn (rather than joining a 2nd and 3rd ball). Then I turned the work and knit the rows for the 3rd section (5 more rows), put those stitches on a holder and cut the yarn. Then I joined the yarn for the center section (from the wrong side), and worked the center piece for 5 more rows. I put those on a holder and cut the yarn, then joined it for the 1st section and knit 5 rows. At the end of that, I did the joining row by knitting across on the RS, casting on the stitches as instructed, and knitting the stitches from the stitch holders as I went.

6 rows for the split section, 4 rounds rib on the outer edge, 5 rounds rib on the leg edgings.

If I knit it again, I would probably do the chest section in the round to avoid the seam.
