Notes

Nice to have a sweater that didn’t take FOREVER to finish. I took it as a SIGN FROM ABOVE that I was able to get 8 balls of the same color nice Chunky wool blend from Tuesday Morning - this used about 5 of them.

I modified construction slightly by doing lower side seams ‘seamlessly’; cast on increased stitches for front/back at the same time (after left sleeve completed) with figure-8 type cast on over both ends of the circular needle that had the sleeve stitches on it…

It was a little awkward for 1st couple of rows - but fine after that; woven bind-off (like a sock toe) Coulda/shoulda done the sleeves with DPN’s/Circulars as well… I hate doing finishing work. End result is wonderful slouch-y sweater … I haven’t even bothered to put on buttons… the button-holes, as written, are hard to distinguish in the loosely knit ‘fabric. Love my new sweater - just enough to throw on when it’s not too chilly outside - or just a little chilly inside… perfect for N.C. “winter” weather.
