Another vacation Tuesday Morning bonus… trying yet another wonderful pattern from this marvelous collection. Modified brim, because I like the look of the gradient going sideways and I think garter stitch will stretch (and recover) for making hats to sell (i.e. people always want to try them on). Cast on 11 with provisional stitch cast on (for joining later), then alternate Right Side: slip 2 purlwise with yarn in front (2 stitch i-cord edge), move yarn to back, k8, kfb, turn (increase 1 stitch each row) Wrong Side: slip 2, purl wise with yarn in front, move yarn to back, knit to end of row (k9). Turn.

For this hat: repeated these 2 rows 96 times, until there were 96 + 10 stitches on the circular, kichener stitched the beginning 10 to the last 10 (haven’t perfected this yet - but then there is a subtle “back” to the hat brim)… tyen proceeded to knit the rest of the hat on those 96 stitches.

Used 2 skeins of the same “dye lot” for alternating colors A & B - which was interesting and found they were going to merge pinks as I was decreasing, so I cut one and re-rolled to the other end, which was different enough.

Great result, if I say so myself!
