Oh man, this is quite possibly the cutest thing ever.

I used GraceIvy’s directions and changes. I also added a couple extra rounds to the head before decreasing to make it longer. I wanted more of a horse than a monkey.

What really added to the “horse-ness,” though, was the mane, which I created by looping a bunch of yarn in various places on the head and tying it off.

It’s an easy project and surprisingly quick. I worked on it while watching Fringe, and finished it in 2 nights!

I think this will be a lovely addition to baby boy C’s gift! (I also made him a cowboy hat and booties.)
