I’m not sure why, but I am finding this a very laborious knit. I found the stocking portion went on forever (so much so that I am now worried that my top will be too short for me) and I’m finding the lace stressful to knit too.

I have nearly finished the lace at the back, so I am hoping I will start to feel more energised by this project with something other than long rows of lace to work on.

Just did the Latvian braid and started the lace for the front, after several months of this project being in hibernation. The lace pattern seems much easier now that I have completed a lace shawl.

After months of vacillation, I finished the knitting for the front yesterday and this gorgeous top is on the blocking board. I was very worried that it was going to come out too big, but it actually has a little negative ease across the bust. That is roughly how I wanted it.
I followed others’ modifications for the back neck and used P2tog P3tog alternating across. This seemed to work perfectly. The back looks flat and also fits easily over my head.
Just the ends to sew in now, then I can’t wait to wear this!
