I have been wanting to try to make a graphgan for so long but I was just a little intimidated. I finally found this awesome lady’s video series on youtube. I’m going to learn how to do this and then I’m going to make some major cool stuff! I’ve decided to make this heart into a dishcloth/potholder for my kitchen so I’m using cotton yarn and hope my hands wont give me too much trouble working with the stiff cotton.

My hook is a G/6 4.25mm

I thought I was being pretty clever by making my heart in the variegated yarn that also has red in it (so the red being carried through it will blend in) but I just got to the red part in the variegated and now it looks like part of my heart is missing. It just matches the red I’m using for the outside part perfectly……… a bit too perfectly. Oh well, I guess I’ll have to embroider a line around it.
