This thing is TINY. Cute little shawlette, though, and I just LOVE the slight sparkle goin’ on. =)

Yarn Notes:

Within minutes, my fingers are BLACK. This yarn leaches like crazy. I’m really worried that even after blocking, this will ruin my clothes. I plan to ask the lovely ladies at Twisted what I can do to prevent that.

3/24/10 - Purchased sparkly yarn in a gorgeous shade of midnight purple. It’s nearly black and it’s PERFECT.

3/25/10 - CO! Kristin schooled me on what the heck was going on with the charts, and I think I’m good now! I’m excited to get cruising on this thing, the yarn is absolutely to die for!!

3/26/10 - Home sick. Sadly, too sick to even knit. This project was put on hold for a day while I recouped.

3/27/10 Day 1 of Sam’s race weekend - Finished first bat row, starting stockinette portion between the 2 rows of bats. I happily found about 3 1/2 hour knitting time between Sam’s runs on the track. I was one of 3 wifeys out there knitting away while race cars were flying around the track. =]

3/28/10 Day 2 of Sam’s race weekend - Finished the boring stockinette and started the second row of bats! This this is getting pretty big. I was able to get another couple hours of knitting time in today at the track, but the bigger this baby gets the longer and longer it takes to get from one side to the other!

3/30/10 - Steadily cruising. Pictures really don’t do this thing justice. It’s truly a sight to behold in person. I’ve just about outgrown the 24” cable on my Options needles, I plan to transfer it to the 32” this evening. I can’t wait to block this thing, it’s going to be amazing!

4/1/10 - Just had to tink back an entire knit row. It sucked and it took a very long time. I think I’ve fixed my mistake now. We’ll see if my stitch count is right when I reach the end of this row…

4/5/10 - I had lots of knitting time this weekend and was able to finish chart B, leaving just the bind off row to go! I’m nearly finished, I cannot WAIT to block this beauty. I’m so excited!!
