Test knit for Helen. I thoroughly enjoyed knitting this sock. The pattern is a 16 row repeat that is so easy either to memorise or to follow your knitting. I found knitting this pattern a bit like knitting with self striping yarn - I just wanted to get through another repeat.

I followed the pattern exactly and while I don’t usually follow charts, I found the chart really useful this time for visualising what the pattern would look like.

I also used Helen’s yarn that she supplied for this pattern. A beautiful tonal blue / grey that I would very much like to use again for perhaps a sweater.
