I tried the “festive intarsia” but it did not work out very well. I frogged back and will duplicate stitch the crest on instead. I bet I’ll hate that too.

Finished to the decreases after 59 rounds for a total of 80 above the purl fold. *Later* The hat’s done and now I just need the sock darning thread to arrive.

My god, the duplicate stitch took nearly eight hours. I must be the slowest ever or Swiss darning is not very quick. But it looks pretty awesome!
