Notes

This simple to knit pattern works up quickly and creates attractively patterned versatile socks. You can easily adjust the length of the leg and cuff by knitting more pattern repeats. The details add polish to the finished piece; the stitch design on the heal and tapering point on the top of the foot make these as elegant as they are comfortable. Shown here in Belles Bouclettes’ undyed fingering weight mohair/wool yarn. The soft yarn only blooms a very little after washing and makes a beautifully fitted sock with a lovely texture. Wonderful to make, a treat to wear!

Note about the yarn: it is available from Belles Bouclettes, which is located on a small farm in eastern Ontario Canada. The mohair comes from their happy herd of angora goats. The yarns are spun in Canadian
mills,. Their lines of dyed and undyed mohair and llama yarns are fantastic! (For anyone who wants to
take their love of fibre into the bath, they also have some fabulous felted goat’s milk soap (along with some other body care produtcs), definitely worth
checking out!) If you are interested you can visit them at:
