The pattern was well written and I learned a few new techniques. I was nervous about the cast-on, but that worked out fine. I’m not a huge fan of short rows, which you have to do on the sleeves. They didn’t turn out as bad for me as the last time I tried it, but I still need more practice.

My only complaint is that this project was a lot to handle while knitting. The designer wanted a sweater with seamless construction, but that makes for a cumbersome project. I only worked on it at home. I usually tuck project in a knitting bag and take them with me everywhere. I just had to have a second smaller project going for when I left the house!

Other than that, I would recommend making it! It’s a gorgeous design!
