My yarn is totally not to gauge, so I had to wing this one a bit. I cast on for the small, used the size needle that the yarn calls for, and it turned out like the 38” size. I decreased up to a smaller size under the arms and I didn’t have enough yarn for sleeves. I did a single crochet around the sleeves to finish them off.

I also did lots of short rows so it wasn’t so bulky around the back of the neck. I’m not sure how this pattern would even work if you didn’t do them … . .
