My Dad’s helping me to make these as he’s done the cuffs for me on a knitting machine that belongs to me which is in the knitting room (my mother’s room) as their house! I got the machine from a grand auntie’s estate when she passed away as my mum thought it a good thing for me to have when I was home with three under three’s (at that time I hadn’t the inclination at all to learn to knit on a machine and only now over thirty years later am I taking an interest in it).

My aunt died in 1986 approximately at the age of 86 years and had been knitting with it up to then.
