I colleague asked me to knit a pair of fingerless gloves as their daughter had lost one of their favourite gloves. In the second picture you see the original glove alongside one I have knitted. I made a complete new pair. I had an interesting time trawling through both the local wool shops in Shetland where you can buy pure Shetland wool - jumper weight/4 ply used. The main colour had to be changed as none of them has this colour in stock anymore.
I found the colours quite dark from my usual style but the change nice.
As I don’t machine knit, I decided to put in corrugated ribbing as I simply find it too boring to knit rows and rows of ribbing.
