Each month during 2016 The Loopy Ewe yarn store offered a colorway inspired by the photography of Paul Berger. During 2017 I plan to knit a pair of socks each month with the previous year’s colorway, i.e. in August 2017 I’ll knit socks using the August 2016 yarn.

The yarn was dyed for The Loopy Ewe by Socks That Rock, Blue Moon Fiber Arts.

To break up any potential pooling I worked the following pattern on the legs:

Round 1: ^K8, p2. Repeat from ^ to the end.
2: K7, ^P2, K8. Repeat from ^ to last st, K1.
3: K6, ^P2, K8. Repeat from ^ to last 2 sts, K2.
4: K5, ^P2, K8. Repeat from ^ to last 3 sts, K3.
5: K4, ^P2, K8. Repeat from ^ to last 4 sts, K4.
6: K3, ^P2, K8. Repeat from ^ to last 5 sts, K5.
7: K2, ^P2, K8. Repeat from ^ to last 6 sts, K6.
8: K1, ^P2, K8. Repeat from ^ to last 7 sts, K7.
9: ^P2, K8. Repeat from ^ to the end.
10: P1, K8, ^P2, K8. Repeat from ^ to last st, P1.
