All done! Buttons dewn on, ends darned in … it looks adorable. There are a lot of nice design touches and attention to detail on this jumper, the slightly different decreases along the raglan sleeves, the plackets, the seed stitch collar, the inset sleeves, and so on. This was my first time using duplicate stitch, and I must say I’m very happy with how the little chihuahua and paw prints turned out.

While the pattern is quite wordy and looks dauntingly long (prints out at 8 pages), the designer has made sure that each step is clearly explained without too much knitting jargon or abbreviations (hence the length).

There was an error in the pattern, which noticeably stuffed up the top section of the jumper. Have frogged it to the point where the sleeves join on, and will reknit, after guidance and corrections from the designer.

Making the Medium size, to fit Tom next winter.
