I am using the pattern as a guide but using 4ply yarn and 3.5mm needles instead. I am working the stripes in 4 colours in the following sequence:

6A, 2B, 2A, 6B, 2C, 2B, 6C, 2D, 2C, 6D, 2A, 2D etc…

This is mindless knitting but I love the results so far - a modern, classic baby blanket.

Finished knitting on 28 December and cast off in the standard way, then decided to rip out the cast off edge and use a sewn bind off just in case I needed some stretch while blocking. This is taking ages!

Finally finished the sewn bind off then blocked to size and sewed the hem. Very happy with this one!
