Cast on 102 stitches to bring in the neck a little, didn’t want it as wide. When the ribbing was complete I added 4 stitches evenly across the back.

For “Begin Pattern” in the YOKE section, start 2x2 ribbing with P 2 so you will have the K 2 next to the cable pattern to set it off correctly.

I added length and two more sets of waist decreases. For button band I picked up 3 stitches for every 4, it ended up being 90. I used 11 buttons. My buttonhole was: yarn over, purl 2 tog.

I made long sleeves.
