Started this shawl in March 2011 to make sure I had a fairly brainless project to knit on during the hectic weeks in the run-up to the April election. Almost finished this in May, but had to do a massive Frankenstein job on the bind-off, and then ended up finding the 3rd skein of the grey which had gone missing in the process. Finally undid the bind-off on July 31st, and hope to finish the project soon.

Bind-off finished on August 1st. First shawl finished this year that took more than 500m of yarn :)

One of the grey skeins had had a few metres used to start another shawl in 2010, but that was frogged right before this shawl was started.
