Love this shawl. Easy to knit, fairly fast, looks good. I get a lot of use out of it. Okay, so the colours are… bright. Very glad I used the black for the edging. All rainbow would have been a bit much. Ha ha! But hey, it is warm and squashy and soft. It works great as a warm shawl, but I wear it mostly as a scarf and it frankly looks great with my denim jacket.

Again, I am lamenting that my cable isn’t longer. I seriously need to get a set of convertibles with longer length cables. Sheesh. Anyway, the shawl is progressing. It is knitting up quickly, and it is super simple. I’ve been able to hammer away at it while my husband and I watch Seinfeld reruns. It is getting bigger and of course the stripes of colour are thinning out. I am not sure at what point the rainbow stripes will start to look stupid because a colour won’t reach across the whole length. Soon, I think.

I think I have decided to do the bottom lace-y edging in a solid colour - black, white, or grey I’d say. I’m a ways off before I have to make that decision, but I am going to have to go on a yarn quest in time.
