Starting with gauge swatch using all six colors selected for this project. I am getting the gauge stated for the pattern: 18 stitches over 4 inches (4.5 spi). Love this yarn!

10/23/11 The yoke on this vest is knitting up fast and I like the way it looks. I should finish the yoke this weekend.

11/5/11 Life interferred. Just finished yoke this morning. Really love this pattern.
11/6/11 Made one modification to this pattern so far. I elected to knit the sleeves for 12 rows instead of 16. I liked the length.

11/20/11 Have knit 8 inches of the body. I love the way this vest looks! I tried it on this morning - pattern says to knit until 12.5 inches long then begin 1 X 1 rib on smaller needles for 2 inches. Since I am short-waisted, this will make this vest too long for me. So I plan to knit to a length of 10 inches and then begin the ribbing -- making the length 12 inches total.

11/26/11 Finished the body. Tried on the vest -- it fits!

11/27/11 Made another modification to the pattern. The front band is supposed be only 6 rows wide. After trying the vest on when I got to the sixth row -- I decided the portions were not correct and elected to knit 4 additional rows. I like the end result.. One band down, one to go.
