Sometimes a package arrives which puts a huge smile on the face of its receiver - today it was my turn to receive one of those! I had ordered pattern and Wollmeise 80/20 natural yarn for knee socks from Yarnissima, and I have to admit that my heart sank by the sight of the pattern - 19 pages! Maybe the massive pattern was the reason for the surprises Yarnissima had stuffed the package with? I found a small chocolate, a piece of cake (indeed!), a cute little ladybird, and a Ravelry button - everything beautifully wrapped. No wonder I am still smiling! It’s so nice with surprises like this, it doesn’t take much to make me happy!

One sock finished!!!!
Yippee - one knee sock down, “only” one to go! Quite the time consuming project, but at the same time fun. I have to admit that there was a time when I was tempted to stow away the whole thing, but the stubborn side of me kept me going - and I am happy with the result! I expect the next sock to be a little bit easier to knit, being that I’m no longer new to the pattern now. I’ll try for better pics once the second sock is finished!
