Warp: Austermann Step - 131 ends
Weft: Unknown Wool (handspun from fiber that came with my spinning wheel)

I would have preferred a tighter sett and something closer to a balanced weave instead of weft-faced; however, I’m working with what I have, and that’s a lot of weft and very little warp. And I didn’t want the piece to be any narrower.

Wove 22 picks to start, then hemstitched. Tried a little twill, a little basketweave, then a little more twill… but decided since you can’t really see the pattern much anyway, I’ll just stick with plain weave for the rest of it.

Ended up a little smaller than I wanted, since it’s very weft-faced, but it’s at least square!
